Hoshiarpur (PB): A minor girl was allegedly raped by a youth at her residence at Banja Bagh area in the district, police said on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old girl was raped by Vijay Kumar on the night of March 11 when she was alone in the house along with her sister, they said.
The victim`s mother and brother had gone to Amritsar and Himachal Pradesh respectively for some work at the time of the incident.
A hunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused while the further probes are on, police added.
