Temperatures remain at normal level in Punjab, Haryana

Chandigarh: Minimum temperature Thursday remained almost at normal level in Punjab and Haryana, MeT officials said here.

Chandigarh had a low of 12 degrees C without any variation from normal level, the MeT office said here today.

In Haryana, Ambala and Gurgaon recorded minimum at 12.6 deg C and 12 deg C respectively, up by one notch each.

Hisar had a low of 11.1 deg C, while Karnal and Narnaul recorded a minimum of 9.4 deg C and 10.2 deg C respectively. Mercury in Rohtak and Bhiwani settled at 11.9 deg and 12.8 deg C respectively.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a low of 9.2 deg C, while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded minimum temperature of 10 deg C and 11.3 deg C respectively, down by one notch each.

MeT has forecast mainly dry days.
