Hisar braved a cold night at 3.5 degrees Celsius, down three notches than normal while Karnal too was yet to get any relief from the cold, with the minimum settling at 4 degrees Celsius, down three degrees.
Cold conditions prevailed in Bhiwani, where minimum settled two notches below normal at 4.4 degrees Celsius, while Ambala`s low was recorded at 6.7 degrees Celsius.
Chandigarh recorded a night temperature of 6.1 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar had a cold night at 3.2 degrees Celsius, while Patiala residents also faced the chill at 5 degrees Celsius minimum.
The low at Ludhiana settled at 7.2 degrees Celsius.
