Batala: A 20-year-old woman was allegedly abducted and raped by two youths at Dhade village here.
The victim complained that on the night of October 18, the two accused identified as Ranjit Singh and Harman Singh abducted her from her residence, police said today.
The accused, both residents of Gosal village, took her to Dhade village and raped her, they said, adding that they left her outside her house next morning and threatened to kill her family members if she disclosed the matter to anyone.
On the basis of her complaint, an FIR has been registered against the duo by Dera Baba Nana police, they said, adding the accused are absconding.
The girl was handed over to her family members today after her medical examination was conducted at the Civil hospital here, they added.
