40 IPS officers transferred in Rajasthan

In a major reshuffle in police administration in the state, the Rajasthan government tonight transferred 40 IPS officers including one additional director general, seven IGs and several SPs.

administration in the state, the Rajasthan government tonight
transferred 40 IPS officers including one additional director
general, seven IGs and several SPs.

As per the orders, ADG Udaipur range T L Meena would
now be ADG, Telecommunications and Govind Gupta, till now IG
Jail (Jodhpur), would replace him as IG Udaipur range.

IG-ACB Umesh Mishra has been transferred as IG Jodhpur
range, while IG Bharatpur M S Singh has been given charge of
IG-Vigilance. IG-Armed battalion Sunil Dutt will take the
place of Singh.

In Jaipur, Mahendra Choudhary (SP Karauli) would be
new DCP (East) replacing Hawa Singh Ghumariya.
Several DIGs and SPs have also been transferred.
