Ajmer blast: RSS to protest against defamation

Rashtriya Swayayamsewak Sangh will hold a nation-wide sit-in and public meetings on November 10 to protest against the attempts to defame the 85-year-old organisation.

Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayayamsewak Sangh
will hold a nation-wide sit-in and public meetings on November
10 to protest against the attempts to defame the 85-year-old
organisation.

"A deliberate attempt has been made for the last few days
to defame the RSS and implicate its top functionaries into
bogus cases," RSS Nagpur Mahanagar Prant chief Dr Dilip Gupta
and Ravi Joshi told reporters here today.

"Its a big conspiracy not only to defame the Sangh but
also to divert nation`s attention from burning issues like
Kashmir, terrorism, Naxalism and rising prices of essential
commodities," Joshi said.

About senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar`s name figuring in
chargesheet filed by Rajasthan ATS in Ajmer bomb blast, Joshi
said that Sangh neither believes in violence nor supports any
such activities.

The protest meetings will be held at all the district
headquarters and will be attended and addressed by top
functionaries, Gupta said.

He said the Congress was trying to polarise Hindu votes
by defaming RSS which has maintained a clean slate all these
days. A strong resentment is prevailing among the
Swayayamsewaks over the defamation, they said.

In Nagpur the dharna and meeting will be held at 4 PM at
Moriss College T point, Joshi added.
