Jaipur: Ajmer Dargah Committee president on Wednesday condemned the Taliban assault on a Pakistani Army school which left 141, mostly children, dead and described it as an act of "cowardice".

"The killing of innocent people in the name of Jihad was against the principles of Islam and yesterday's incident was a dreadful crime against humanity," dargah's committee president Asrar Ahmed Khan said in a statement.

"This was an anti-humanity and anti-Islam act. Its high time Muslims from all over the world come together to deject forces like Tehrik-e-Taliban, who in the name of Islam spread terrorism," he said.
