Jaipur: In a shocking case of rage, a bus driver crushed a group of pilgrims under the wheels after a quarrel over fare in Karuali district.
As per initial reports, a group of pilgrims from Agra had hired a private bus to make the pilgrimage to Kaila Devi temple in Karauli.
After they reached the temple town, a fight broke out between the bus driver and the pilgrims over the fare.
The bus driver, identified as one Radhey, in a fit of rage, ran the bus over the pilgrims standing in front of the vehicle.
Six persons are confirmed dead, while 11 others are injured. Out of the injured three are said to be in a critical condition and have been rushed to Jaipur for treatment.
The police are trying to locate the bus driver who fled the scene after the crime.
