Jaipur: Fog disrupted rail services in Rajasthan where Churu was the coldest place with a minimum temperature of 3.6 degrees Celsius.

Due to fog in bordering states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana, seven trains on Tuesday arrived late, and seven were running late from 50 minutes to 10 hours, an NWR spokesman said.

Hawara-Sriganganagar train was running late by 10 hours, Gorakhpur-Hisar by 4 hrs 20 minutes, Nizamuddin-Udaipur by 3 hrs, and Hardwar-Ahd by 2 hours and 25 minutes, the spokesman said.

Udaipur had a chilly weather for the second day today with a minimum of 5 degrees C last night, while Sriganganagar recorded 5.2 degrees C.

Bikaner recorded a minimum of 6.3 degrees C, while Jaipur's minimum temperature dipped by a few notches to settle at 7.4 degrees C.

Mist trough has passed over Rajasthan and at most places the day was sunny with a little fog in eastern parts of the state.

Temperature would further dip due to clear sky and cold winds in next 24 hours in the state, a forecast said.
