Cold, fog continue to prevail in Rajasthan; train services hit

22 trains were running late, two trains were cancelled and as many were partially cancelled, a North Western Railway spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, the mercury dipped to minus 1.4 degree Celsius in Mount Abu- the sole hill station in state, MeT department said.

Churu in the plains, continued to remain coldest place in the state with a minimum temperature at 0.1 degree Celsius.

Pilani's low settled at 0.5 degree Celsius, while Dabok and?Sikar both recorded minimum of 3 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperatures in Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Ajmer were recorded at 3.2, 4.9, 5.3, 5.7 and 7.5 degrees Celsius respectively.

MeT department has forecast that cold conditions would continue for next 24 hours.
