Dalit students beaten up,expelled for drinking from common pot

A teacher was on Saturday arrested for allegedly beating up and expelling 11 Dalit students for drinking water from a common earthen pot in a primary school in Nokha area here.

Bikaner: A teacher was on Saturday arrested for allegedly beating up and expelling 11 Dalit students for drinking water from a common earthen pot in a primary school in Nokha area here.

The accused teacher Mangal Singh Rajput was posted in a government primary school in Tat village.

"An FIR was lodged today with Nokha police station following which the accused teacher was arrested," police have said.
