Fake candidates nabbed at Pre-Ayurveda Test in Rajasthan

Four fake candidates, who were allegedly appearing in place of the aspirants for Pre-Ayurveda Test (PAT) here, were arrested in Dadabadi area while appearing for the exam, police said.

Kota: Four fake candidates, who were allegedly appearing in place of the aspirants for Pre-Ayurveda Test (PAT) here, were arrested in Dadabadi area while appearing for the exam, police said.

They were produced before a local court yesterday which sent them to police remand till July 15, they said.

The accused were arrested on Sunday while appearing for PAT exam at Aklank College of Education in Basant Vihar area. The test was being conducted by Dr S R Rajasthan Ayurveda University, police said.

The accused Suresh Kumar, Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Sunil Yadav and Vikram Saini were appearing on behalf of Pavan, Kuldeep, Anil and Naresh Kumar respectively, they said.

They had charged Rs 4,000-5,000 to appear for the candidates, police said.

Station House Officer (SHO), Dadabadi police station, Nathu Lal said police teams have been sent to nab the aspirants.
