Bundi: The ambitious Rs 125 crore
Gardha Dam project in Rajasthan is facing uncertainty with the green signal for its reconstruction from the Central Works Committee still pending.
"We have not yet been instructed about the reconstruction
work by CWC. As soon as we get the order, the work on Gardha
Dam would be started," District Collector Aarti Dogera said.

The dam, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Ashok
Gehlot in his previous tenure in 2003-04, was collapsed on
August 15 last year. Following the incident, 25 employees,
including chief executive engineer C S Bhapna, involved in the
construction, were suspended.
Later, the state government initiated an ACB probe into
the case and also forwarded the whole matter to the CWC. However, the state agency has not submitted its report so far.
