Gehlot has raised the medical allowance of freedom fighters
from Rs 600 per month to Rs 1,000 per month.
The CM also approved a budget of Rs 70 lakh to provide
subsidy on LPG connections to 5,000 families residing near
Ranthambhore National Park in Sawaimadhopur district, an
official said today.
A subsidy of Rs 1,000 will be given for each
connection to these families.
Gehlot also gave his nod to postpone land revenue
collection till August 2011 in 165 villages where crops were
damaged due to hailstorm earlier this year, the official
added.
Celebrating his birthday, Gehlot declared that every
legislative constituency will be given seven crore rupees and
said Rs 1,400 crore have been set aside for it.
He also announced that in the PDS system more
commodities will be made available and not just BPL families
but people from other sections too will be able to utilise the
schemes.
He also announced that in government hospitals free
medicine will be made available to all.
The CM declared that in Banswara a gas-based power
project will be set up.
