Heat wave sweeps Rajasthan

A heat wave was sweeping across parts of the desert state of Rajasthan where Churu recorded a maximum temperature of 44.8 degree Celsius.

Jaipur: A heat wave was sweeping across parts of the desert state of Rajasthan where Churu recorded a maximum temperature of 44.8 degree Celsius.
Sri Ganganagar and Jaisalmer recorded maximum of 44.6 degree Celsius, while Bikaner and Barmer sizzled at 44.3 degrees.
Other places also registered a day temperature between 41.4 degree Celsius and 43 degree Celsius.
The Met department predicts no respite from the scorching heat in the coming days.
