Due to fog and mist in neighbouring states of Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, departure of Ajmer- Jabalpur Express train (number 12182) was rescheduled, while eleven other trains were running late from 25 minutes to about ten hours, a NWR spokesperson said.

Sole hill station Mount Abu was the coldest place in the region with a low of 0.6 deg C.

Meanwhile, Sriganganagar recorded a minimum temperature of 2 degrees C, followed by Churu 3.2 deg C, Pilani 3.8 deg C, Jaisalmer 5.2 deg C, Jaipur 6 deg C, Barmer 8.3 deg C, Chittorgarh 8.8 deg C, Udaipur 9 deg C, and Jodhpur 9.7 deg C.

Night temperature would further fall in next 24 hours, a MeT report said.
