Jaipur: A police constable was Wednesday
suspended for allegedly slapping an SHO in Rajasthan's Pali district, police said here.
Constable Samundar Singh, posted at Rohat police station, was annoyed with SHO Hari Ram Soni for arresting a man whom he had assured of safety, they said.
An argument broke out between Samundar and Hari Ram over
the issue following which the constable slapped the SHO,
police said.
Samundar was suspended and a departmental probe has been
initiated into the incident, they said.
