Jaipur: Rajasthan Energy Minister Jitendra Singh on Friday reviewed the arrangements of electricity supply in the state.

In view of deficit monsoon, the demand for the power has increased and it was estimated that the demand will be 1600 lakh units per day from next month, an official said.

The minister expressed satisfaction that the power supply in the state is better than other states and said that government was allocating Rs. 1356 crore to ensure proper electricity from October 2012 to March 2013.
