Jaipur: Rajasthan BJP today termed Gehlot
government`s announcement of a metro rail project for the city
as `hollow` saying it had been made without proper planning to
cover up the dearth of development programmes in the state.
"The Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is trying to cover up
the drought of development programmes in the name of Metro,"
BJP`s state unit spokespersons Sunil Bhargava and Jyoti Kiran
said in a joint statement here.
Criticising the government for imposing a new cess to
create funds for the project, they said it was being cruel to
people already suffering due to rise in prices of petroleum
