Loot in bank, employee shot dead in Jaipur

A bank employee was shot dead by unidentified persons who decamped from the bank with over Rs 5 lakh.

Jaipur: A bank employee was shot dead by
unidentified persons who decamped from the bank with over Rs 5
lakh on Wednesday, police said.

The accused entered the Vidhyadhar Nagar branch of the
Central bank of India after noon and threatened its employees.

They snatched at gun point Rs 5.22 lakh and decamped
from there, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Jaipur North) Ashok
Naruka said.

"Ummed Singh, a bank employee tried to stop them but
they shot him dead. There were no proper security arrangement
in the bank," he said.
