Major reshuffle in Rajasthan; 57 transferred

The Rajasthan government on Sunday effected a major shuffle in the police administration, transferring 57 senior officers, including five additional director generals and district police chiefs.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan government on Sunday effected a major shuffle in the police administration, transferring 57 senior officers, including five additional
director generals and district police chiefs.

ADG-railways Suresh Choudhary would now be the ADG
traffic and replace R S Dhillon, who would take Choudhary`s
position. ADG planning and welfare Manoj Bhatt would now take
charge of ADG headquarters, and replace Jaswant Sampatram, who
would take charge of vigilance.

K K Sharma, ADG vigilance has been transferred to the
post of planning and welfare.

Also 11 inspector generals (IG) and superintendent of
police (SP) of 20 districts are among the officers who have
been transfered tonight.
