Mercury dips after rains lash Rajasthan

Mercury dipped in parts of the desert state of Rajasthan after the region was lashed by rains.

Jaipur: Mercury dipped in parts of the
desert state of Rajasthan after the region was lashed by
rains.

Sriganganagar recorded a minimum temperature of 6.6
degrees Celsius, 10 notches less than yesterday`s low of 16.5
degrees C, according to MeT department.

Night temperatures ranged between 9.2 degrees Celsius
to 17.3 degrees Celsius at other places in the state.

Monday night, Churu and Sikar recorded 2 mm rainfall,
while Pilani and Jaipur received 1 mm and 0.7 mm of rain
respectively.

Ajmer and Jodhpur also received some rainfall last
night.

Rain and thundershowers may occur at isolated places
in western parts of the state today also, according to a MeT
forecast.
