Jaipur: Amid speculation of a Cabinet
reshuffle in Rajasthan in the aftermath of the removal of
controversial minister Mahipal Maderna, Congress General
Secretary Mukul Wasnik on Sunday said he was not aware about
such an exercise.
"I am not aware of any possible reshuffle in the
Cabinet. You should ask the Chief Minister," Wasnik, in-charge
of party affairs in the state, told reporters here.
Speculation about a Cabinet reshuffle was rife after
Water Resources Minister Maderna, whose name figured in the
the Bhanwari Devi missing case, was axed by Chief Minister
Congress state unit head Chandrabhan said the party
would be revamped to improve its coordination with the state
"Coordination between the party and the state
government is essential and taking into account requests by
Congress workers, new appointments will be made soon," he
