Jaipur: A group of nursery teachers' training degree holders today staged a protest outside the BJP state headquarters here demanding that they be recruited as pre-primary teachers in Anganwadi.

The candidates raised their demand before Minister of State for Women and Child Development Minister Anita Bhadel, who was here to attend a public hearing at the party office.

"Nearly 2,700 such candidates have been demanding government jobs for the last five years. The government should notify adequate vacancies in anganwadi centers," Vishnu Kumar, an NTT candidate, said.

Speaking to NTT candidates, Bhadel said any decision in this regard will be taken by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

"Their issue is pending with the cabinet sub-committee. Final decision with regard to vacancy will be taken by the Chief Minister," she said.
