Rains lash Raj, Met dept issues warning for heavy rains

Jaipur: Light to moderate rainfall lashed parts of Rajasthan during the last 24 hours with the local Met office issuing warning for heavy rains in isolated areas of the desert state.

Till morning, Banswara and SriGanganagar each recorded 11 cm while several other places received 1 to 10 cm rainfall.

Kota, Dabok, Chittorgarh and Vanasthali have recorded 47.4, 10, 7 and 3 mm rains, according to the Met department.

The department has issued a warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall during the next 72 hours at few places in the state.
