Raj: Court verdict on Afghan militants on July 11
Seven Afghan nationals are facing trial on the charge of intruding into India with explosives and arms.
Jodhpur: A court here will pronounce the
verdict on 7 Afghan nationals, facing trial on the charge of
intruding into India with explosives and arms, on July 11.
Completing the final hearing in the matter in the court
room of the Jodhpur Central Jail on Wednesday, Additional
District and Sessions judge Anoop Kumar Saxena said he will be
pronouncing the judgement on July 11.
At the same time, the court has once again summoned the
11 key witnesses, including the former DIG (BSF-J&K) CV Rao
who has been evading the court.
According to the amicus curaie Manish Vyas, the trial is
being constantly held up due to the absence of the witnesses.
The witnesses are also key in a separate trial of four
Pakistani nationals who are facing charges under the Arms act
and Foreigners` Act and are in judicial custody for the past
13 years and 8 years respectively.
