Jaipur: Youth Congress here on Thursday demanded resignation of Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for allegedly helping former IPL boss Lalit Modi, wanted by Enforcement Directorate in many cases.

Youth Congress held a protest march which began at Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters and was led by All India Youth Congress President Amrinder Singh Raja and PCC Vice-President Dr Raghu Sharma.

The protesters also burnt the effigies of the Swaraj and Raje at Government Hostel circle.
Sharma alleged that Swaraj and Raje were both guilty of "economic crime by favouring LaMo" and hence they should step down from their posts.

"BJP had assured the nation it would bring back black money but its leaders (Swaraj and Raje) were engaged in converting it into white money through LaMo," he said.
