Rajasthan government plans to export milk and dairy products to Arab countries after fulfilling the local demand.

Jaipur: Rajasthan government plans to export milk and dairy products to Arab countries after fulfilling the local demand.

The state agriculture minister Prabhulal Saini said the samples of the milk and products have been tested in the UAE which have been found to of good quality.

The government would now plan to export surplus milk to the Arab countries, he said here.
Saini, speaking at unveiling of publicity material about ideal cattle management and scientific cattle conservation at his residence, said that expansion of Jaipur dairy were under process and quality milk of international standard was being made available to the people.
The minister informed that the government would be reaching out to every cattle keeper so as to ensure that they are getting advantages of government schemes and programmes in the field of animal husbandry.

Director Animal Husbandry Rajesh Mann informed that the department has prepared 15 types of posters and published booklets about ideal cattle management with latest scientific techniques which would be disseminated across the state to create awareness among the cattle keepers.
