Jaipur: It seems that there is no end to the crime against females in Rajasthan. What can be more shameful for a women if she is being made half-naked and tortured, that too by her husband as a punishment.
According to news reports, a 40-year-old woman on Sunday was made half-naked and paraded in the market by her husband in Sikar district here.
When this shameful incident took place, reportedly the victims' teenaged daughter was also present at the crime scene.
The woman was beaten-up by her husband before being paraded half-naked, as per reports.
Soon after the incident was brought into notice, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Sikar and village Tehsildar rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
As per reports, police have arrested the accused 47-year-old Kesar Singh, after an FIR was lodged by his victim wife.
According to the FIR, the victim, who has two daughters and a son, used to be allegedly manhandled by her drunkard husband.
A week before, in a similar incident, a woman in Thurawad village in Rajsamand district here was stripped and paraded on a donkey after being accused of killing her nephew. The members of the village also blackened her face with coal dust and cut her hair.
