Rajasthan to recruit 2000 physical training teachers

Buoyed over discus thrower Krishna Poonia striking gold in the Commonwealth Games, the Rajasthan government announced that it will recruit at least 2,000 teachers in physical training and education in the state.

teachers in physical training and education in the state.

The recruitment would be done through Rajasthan Public
Service Commission (RPSC) in due course, Education Minister
Bhanwarlal Meghawal said inaugurating a synthetic court at a
school here.

All vacant posts of Physical Training Instructors in
schools would also be filled up in the state schools, he
added.

Poonia, who hails from Churu district in Rajasthan and
represents Indian railways in national tournaments, created
history by breaking India`s 52-year-old Commonwealth Games
gold medal jinx by winning gold medal in women`s discus throw.
