Rajasthan: Two Pakistani-Hindu boys detained by CID

Security agencies interrogated two Pakistani nationals who were found carrying around 40 bags here.

Bikaner: Security agencies interrogated two Pakistani nationals who were found carrying around 40 bags here.

Initial verifications confirmed that Shabir Ram and Ajba Ram had valid visas and passports. Nothing objectionable was seized from them, CID-Special Branch ASI Shailendra Singh said.

The duo were staying in Jaisalmer's Mohangarh area along with other Pakistani-Hindu families on religious visa for one-and-a-half years.

They visited Delhi a few days ago to meet their relatives who entered India through Wagah border. Their relatives have visa only for Haridwar. So the duo was asked to carry their luggages to Jaisalmer, Singh said.

"The boys carried luggages from Delhi to Bikaner in a private bus. When they were about to take another bus for Jaisalmer this morning, someone informed us that two boys were carrying a large number of bags bearing Pakistani tags. So they were brought to CID office for interrogation," he said.

"Our office in Jaisalmer has verified their passport and visa there," he said.

Singh said the boys would be set free tonight.
