Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok
Gehlot today said people of the state whether residing in the
country or abroad should meet on one forum at least once every
two-three years to discuss its development and explore ways to
push it on the path to progress.
Gehlot made the suggestion while addressing
non-resident Rajasthanis at a function organised in his honour
by the Jaipur Jewellers of New York, an official release said
He said the people of Rajasthan had done the state
proud at the international level in recent years taking big
strides in terms of development.
"Over the years Jaipur has emerged as an important
city at the international level. The wide roads, big
overbridges and flyovers are telling the tales of the
development of the city," the Chief Minister was quoted as
saying at the function.
