Jaipur: Rajasthan BJP president Vasundhara Raje on Monday expressed confidence about returning to power in the forthcoming Assembly polls with "historic majority".
"BJP will form the next government in Rajasthan with historic majority because people want to get rid of the bad governance of Congress and want to make a new Rajasthan with employment opportunities for youths, reasonable price of crop for farmers and dignity of women, employees and businessmen," a release quoting Raje said here.
The former Chief Minister held a meeting with senior party leaders in Mount Abu, to take a feedback about her Suraj Sankalp Yatra which started in April from Rajsamand district and is scheduled to end on September 8 in Jaipur.
BJP national president Rajnath Singh and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi are slated to attend the last public meeting related to the Yatra.
