Jaipur: The government has ordered a probe
after the Rajasthan Public Service Commission brought to its
notice some application forms for state administrative
services examination having the same photograph but different
addresses of candidates.
According to reports in the local media, as many as 55
application forms were found bearing photographs of 12
candidates, including 4 females, during scrutiny by RPSC which
had received around 4 lakh forms.
Also, the desired examination centre in all the 55 forms
is Pali district.
"RPSC recently reported to the government that several
forms have been found with different addresses but with same
photograph, which is suspicious," Home Minister Shanti
Dhariwal said Thursday.
"It may be an organised crime that various forms carry
the same photograph and different addresses, so I have asked
the Special Operations Group to probe it," Dhariwal said,
adding the probe was ordered yesterday.
Rajasthan Public Service Commission is conducting RAS
(pre) examination on September 29, for which it had received
around 4 lakh forms.
