Jaipur: Rajasthan experienced slight respite from cold on Tuesday with an increase in night temperature from 1 to 5 degree Celsius, even as fog affected movement of transport services in the state.
Due to the fog in northern areas, 14 trains under the North Western Railway are running late while one train was rescheduled, a NWR spokesperson said.
Four trains were cancelled and as many were partially cancelled today, he said.
Night temperature increased from 1 to 5 degree Celsius as compared to yesterday in parts of the state, a MeT department report said.
Meanwhile, Churu was the coldest place and recorded a minimum temperature of 6.6 degrees Celsius, it said.
The minimum temperature at Sriganganagar, Dabok, Kota, Pilani, Jaipur and Ajmer were recorded at 6.8, 7, 7.6, 7.9, 8.9 and 10.4 degree Celsius respectively.
