Squall hits eastern Rajasthan, light rain in Jaipur

Jaipur: A low intensity squall coupled with
showers hit the eastern parts of Rajasthan today bringing
respite to people from hot and humid weather while a dust
storm occurred here followed by a drizzle.

Upper air cyclonic system caused by a western disturbance
from Pakistan also caused drizzles in Chittorgarh, Ajmer,
Churu and Alwar, the Met office said.

Meanwhile, Chittorgarh recorded a maximum temperature
of 38 degree C, and Jaipur 34.8 degree C this afternoon.

Western disturbance is likely to stay over the state
during the next 24 hours, a forecast said.
