Teenager commits suicide before exam results

Thane: A teenage girl allegedly committed
suicide by hanging herself shortly before the announcement of
her higher secondary examination results near here, police
said.

Anupama More (19) hanged herself from the ceiling fan
using a cloth at her residence in Kalwa yesterday,
Investigating Officer Archana Pujari said.

More had appeared for her HSC exams (Class XII) for a
second time after failing last year, police said.

The girl`s this year`s result was not yet known.
