Upliftment of poor, backward top priority of government: CM

Upliftment of the poor and villages is on priority of the state Government and we are making all efforts to bring disadvantaged sections in the mainstream of the society, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said.

Jaipur: Upliftment of the poor and
villages is on priority of the state Government and we are
making all efforts to bring disadvantaged sections in the
mainstream of the society, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said
today.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the 5th
National Convention of Adivasi Bhil Samaj at Chitrakut Nagar
in Udaipur, Gehlot said.

Gehlot said the Mahatma Gandhi National rural Employ-
ment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGs)has emerged as the unique
employment generation scheme in the world.

This scheme provides new dimensions to the development
of villages and better resources of the self employment along
with the guarantee 100 days employment in rural area, Gehlot
said.
