New Delhi: It seems Delhiites are in for no relief from the rising air pollution. Air pollution in national capital continues to get worst because of the high level of particulate matter (PM2.5) in air, breaching all safety standards.
On Monday, the Delhi High Court mentioned that the air pollution in the national capital is of an "emergency nature" and said this situation would not have arisen if the authorities had implemented laws and rules in place to prevent environmental degradation.
Of late, experts have raised concerns about poor air quality in Delhi creating scare among the residents.
The air pollution at New Delhi Us Embassy, as per the Real-time Air Quality Index Visual Map was recorded at 433, which is considered hazardous at 8:00am in the morning on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
