New Delhi: Yes you heard it right! Recently, a U.S. aerospace technology company called Wingspan has filed a patent for a viewing dome called SkyDeck that lets travelers sit on top of a plane instead of inside of it.
Passengers would be required to take an elevator or a staircase up to a small, clear capsule resembling a bubble. This would give the passengers an awesome view of the skies even better than the pilot's by seating them on top of the plane, inside this transparent bubble.
Still in the testing phase, its manufacturers have said that the design would work on private and commercial planes alike and it would be constructed with similar materials as used on supersonic fighter jets.
We earnestly hope the patent gets approved by the authorities so that we can enjoy this out of the world technology!
