Sharjah: Ever heard of a costume made of mirrors? Recently, a group of Slovakian performers who looked like wearing mirror-made costume presented a street dance show on Sunday in the Emirate of Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This glittering costume covered the dancers' whole bodies - right from their heads to feet and even faces and fingers.
Onlookers seemed amazed at this unique dress and one of them quipped, "They look quite pretty. If this can be used for celebrations, that would be a very unconventional way."
Veronika, the performing group's agent, informed that the dancers were not wearing mirrors, but costumes made out of mirror-like materials."It's a special material and we would like to keep this as a secret, a company secret. We designed first and then we changed it, adapted to, so they are able to move inside. It's a desired years of work, because you cannot just make something. You have to test it," she said.
The performers can dance only 30 minutes at max each time as the material has a poor air permeability.
