A group of 14 Taliban militants surrendered to the government in Afghanistan`s Herat province Tuesday.

Kabul: A group of 14 Taliban militants surrendered to the government in Afghanistan`s Herat province Tuesday.
A 14-member group of Taliban fighters, including their commander Mullah Basir Ahmad, has renounced violence and joined the government in Shindand district of Herat province Tuesday morning, Xinhua quoted governor Daud Sabah as saying.
