21 militants killed, 19 held in Afghanistan

Kabul: Twenty-one Taliban militants were killed in fighting with the coalition forces in Afghanistan, Xinhua reported on Saturday.
At least 19 others were also detained in the operations over the past 24 hours till Saturday evening, the interior ministry said.
Nearly a dozen places, including Kabul, Laghman, Parwan, Kandahar, Helmand, Nimroz, Zabul, Paktiya and Paktika province, were targeted.
