23 Hindus kidnapped in Pakistani province

Islamabad: At least 23 Hindus have been kidnapped in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province over the past few months, a top official said on Saturday.

Incidents of kidnapping for ransom in Balochistan have increased over a period, forcing the Hindu community to migrate to other parts of the country, provincial Home Secretary Naseebullah Bazai told Dawn News.

At least 70 people were kidnapped from Quetta alone in the last three months.

Bazai said that 53 victims have been rescued so far, while the others were yet to be traced.

An anti-kidnapping force has been formed to check the incidents, he said.

Paki`s ansestors were Hindus. They have given their life to protect the Hindu culture. But unfortunately many of then killed. Theirs gwomen were kidnapped - raped and made muslims. Still that process going on. Hindus wants to live peacfully in the world for that they have to pay the high price. Once anyone becomes muslim thir mind is so filled with haterate to other religions. that they do not tolerate any religion and goes to extreme to finish them. Who will stop this cycle ?

global community (led by the UN) should intervene. Not just to save the lives of minorities but also the local people. This cleansing mechanism/devise could turn to the pakistani population as well one day. What did you learn from the Frankenstein story. Nothing. one learns from others mistakes and history. if not then, perhaps one is doomed to repeat it.
