Peshawar: Pakistan troops Friday killed
three Taliban militants in the restive Swat district, where
soldiers are conducting a combing operation to flush out
rebels.
The militants were killed in Matta sub-division, a
former bastion of the Taliban movement led by Maulana
Fazlullah.
Their bodies were handed over to police, officials
said.
Troops are currently conducting a combing operation in
Swat after bringing the insurgency in the valley under
control.
