Aftab Sultan is Pakistan IB chief

After long deliberations to forge a consensus from among 4 senior police officers, the government finally chose Aftab Sultan.

Islamabad: The Pakistan government has named Aftab Sultan as the new director general of the domestic Intelligence Bureau (IB).
After long deliberations to forge a consensus from among four senior police officers, the government finally chose additional inspector general Sultan, the Dawn reported on Sunday.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani approved Sultan`s name. He would assume the new charge on Monday.
