Islamabad: The chief of Balochistan Liberation Front Dr. Allah Nazar has been killed, a local media report in Pakistan said on Tuesday.
The date, method or location of the operation was not disclosed, apparently due to security concerns, said the report in defence.pk.
However, The Nation reported citing security sources that Dr Allah Nazar was ‘eliminated’ in an intelligence-led operation carried out late night on Eidul Fitr. Security forces managed to locate Dr Allah nazar with the help of an electronic chip that was planted by an intelligence mole at a Baloch camp.
Ali Nawaz Baloch, another senior BLF commander and brother of Allah Nazar, was also killed in the anti-terror action, added the Nation report.
However, the security forces could not locate his body after the operation was over.
BLF is said to be responsible for killing over 600 Baloch and also unarmed and unsuspecting construction workers in Turbat.
