Kathmandu: Officials say Nepal`s new Prime Minister has not been able to appoint ministers in his government because of differences among the ruling parties.
Babruram Bhattarai assumed power earlier this week after winning a vote in Parliament but has only appointed a deputy prime minister from the alliance that supported him during voting.
Hridesh Tripathi of the alliance of Madhesi parties said they have five different factions and it was difficult for all of them to agree on who gets to be ministers. Tripathi said it could take a few more days before any agreement is reached among them.
Bhattarai`s press advisor Manrishi Dhital said his Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) too was facing difficulties.
