Peshawar: Bomb disposal experts were
dispatched to Hangu district in northwest Pakistan on Wednesday after
officials at a hospital found a large quantity of explosives
strapped to the body of a militant killed in a gun battle.
The body of the militant, who appeared to be a
foreigner, was brought to the district hospital in Hangu
following the gun battle earlier in the day.
Doctors at the hospital said they detected explosives
and other materials wrapped around the body.

Officials of the bomb disposal squad were then called
in to remove the explosives.

The militant was killed in a gun battle that occurred
in the area between Shahoo Khel and Orakzai tribal region,
