Islamabad: Pakistani authorities have
arrested five Indian fishermen along with their boat for
allegedly fishing illegally in the country`s exclusive
economic zone, officials have said.
The Maritime Security Agency arrested the Indian
fishermen during routine patrolling yesterday.
The fishermen were operating 36 nautical miles inside
Pakistani waters, officials said.
The officials claimed that Indian fishermen continued
to "intrude into Pakistan`s marine resource-rich Indus Delta
to capture high quality fish products."
